From Sneaker Hobbyists to Arezkicks Founders: Our Journey into the Sneaker Culture

We have to admit; we are probably doing this all wrong. We have never really read or written a blog before, so excuse us if there is some mistakes. We are going to do something a little more personal and share our story.

Let's take a trip down memory lane to the start of 2020 when our passion for sneakers took a turn from a hobby to an opportunity. The whole culture surrounding what was hot or vintage in the market always fascinated us, and we couldn't get enough. What started as a mere hobby soon turned into something much more significant when we sold our first pair of Jordan 1 Mids that we picked up from Town Hall station. We remember feeling like on top of the world when we sold them for an extra $20.

But, deep down, we knew it was more than just making money; it was about finding a new home for the sneakers, a place where they would be loved, cherished, and admired. Selling sneakers is more than just a transaction to us. It's a personal experience where we get to find a new home for a unique pair of kicks and provide the customer with the reassurance that they're getting more than just another sale.

Our ultimate objective goes beyond the realm of business; we aim to give back by allowing customers to purchase sneakers they'll adore. Whether it's a young child dreaming of owning a pair of Jordans, Yeezys, Dunks, or Hype sneakers, we want to create an opportunity for them to achieve their aspirations.

Inspired by YouTube influencers like Harrison Nevel and CoolKicks, our passion for sneakers and community grew even stronger. As young and inexperienced individuals, we had limited knowledge and resources. However, our goal was to take our hobby to the next level by providing affordable sneakers to not just a customer but to what we call the Arezkicks Family.
